Objective

Re-design the current logo to better portray the personality of the business, and attract new clients via social media, campaigning and branding through merchandise.

Solution

This client was unique, in that their business was different than that of its competitors. They took pride in the precision of their work, always provided a fair price, and operated with integrity and diligence. After learning their story, I was compelled to create a logo that was as well thought out, and attentive as the work this company was known for.

Using a custom grid, we decided on a combination mark. Bold and defined, reflecting the look of tiling, the logo mark can be used on it’s own, or in combination with the wordmark. A sans serif mix offers a modern simplicity and airy contrast to it’s heaviness.
